Lonnie J. (Poorman) Pfahler

Lonnie J. Pfahler, age 76 of Altoona, died Sunday morning 04/02/2023 at her son’s residence, Newark, Delaware.  She was born 01/23/1947 in Altoona, a daughter of the late James and Winifred (Henry) Poorman.  On 09/30/1995 she married the late Donald Pfahler who passed away 11/21/2012.  Surviving are her son, Donald Pfahler (Rose) of Delaware, her daughter Beckey Smith of Delaware , five grandchildren:  Ashley of Altoona, Donald (Harley) of Delaware, Matthew (Brittany of Delaware, Stephen (Jessica) of Altoona, Lacey (Eddie) of Delaware, two step grandchildren:  Zach of Pittsburgh and Danielle of Florida, and 11 great grandchildren.  Lonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda  Jo Pfahler, brothers:  Jack, Kenny, Donald, Jimmy and Samuel, sisters:  Patty, Nancy, Hazel and Carolee.  Lonnie loved to crochet and work her crossword puzzle books.  She loved her lottery scratch off tickets as well.  Lonnie had worked for All American Dry Cleaners for 25 years until they closed.  Lonnie also worked for Stevens Dry Cleaners.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Lonnie will be missed by many.   Friends will received Saturday April 8th from 10:00 a.m. til noon, at the funeral parlor.  Internment in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
